Japanese Culture Day at a library August 16 (Saturday) 1~4 pm

Japanese Culture day

Japanese volunteers  will introduce Japanese Culture at Tyson Pimmit Regional Library on August 16 (Saturday).

The activities include Origami, Calligraphy, Yoyo tsuri (water balloon fishing), Shogi, Karuta and so on. As most of audience probably don’t know Japanese language, I will introduce Obosan Mekuri.

To attend, it requires the registration, but everybody who comes to the libray can drop in, I guess. Please visit Karuta table!

If you can explain about Karuta in English to people,it will be a great help!
